Come hike the deep wilderness of the Green Mountains National Forest , Vermont. A moderate 2.8 mile hike along this mostly packed dirt foot path with some loose rocky terrain, takes us to Bromley Peak. Here you’ll have panoramic views of the surrounding mountains ,& can see as far as Mt. Washington, NH. Having hiked over 500 miles on the Appalachian Trail, this is the best view I’ve encountered . Day hikers will be brought back to the lot before dark. Campers will set up their tents or hammocks on the peak and witness what many say is the most spectacular sunset viewpoint in Vermont. You will find your solitude here. On a recent trek , 9 of us watched the star show , seeing shooting starts every couple minutes. There’s a large , fully enclosed shelter with electricity, for those who want to sleep inside. The delightful morning sunrise can be seen from your tent or hammock. We will filter our own water & cook our meals. Perfect for families as the zip line , alpine slides, & adventure park will be open,& utilize the bottom half of the mountain , leaving the top in tranquillity. Saturday we will hike up as a group , both day hikers & campers. We will return to the parking area with day hikers before dark. EVERYONE I’ve taken here absolutely loved it and many have returned.
